SCOTTY
The Punk Rock King himself. I just want to live free. Far
away from the forces that try to control: my parents, the
school, society in general. I've seen first hand growing
up the son of a “pillar” cop how the love of power will
make a man strike his own child or pin a crime on an
innocent man just to better his own stats.
I always leaned on writing to get me through the tough
days and it helps me shape my path ... My grandma before
she passed told me “scotty youre a poet and you don't even
know it” and that really stuck with me...I kinda knew
right there I wanted to do something with my words its
just a real hard thing to do, but I'm gonna figure it out
no doubt.
MOLLY
At school, people think I have it all - good grades, good
looks, friends in every group. Even our creepy principal
can't stop doing double takes…
But if everyone knew the truth, they might see me
differently. Since my mom died, I've been on my own. I
take pills, weed, whatever it takes to help me cope. I may
tell myself it's just for fun, but deep down, I know it's
just to numb the pain.
St. Elmo's is a dead end. I don't know what's next, but I
trust my gut to get me somewhere better.
CRAIG
You probably think I'm just another pissed of teenager.
Well, you're not wrong. My dad died last year and my mom
has been on a carousel of guys ever since. But things took
a turn when I found out she's been sleeping with the
principal of my school. Yea, that sleezy catholic man who
thinks he's always got the moral highground.
I started looking into his past, and I think I just
stumbled upon something dark. Real dark...
BILLY
I was blessed with natural smarts, the ability to retain
information. I've always been really good with numbers,
they come easy to me. I've also got a love for music. I
own more CDs than anyone else I know by a mile.
Even though I'm forced to go to this lame ass Catholic
high school every day, I'm an athesist and there's nothing
anyone can say or do that will change my mind.
I see value in the outsider, the skids in life so to
speak. Always found them a lot more interesting.
SAMMY
They call me Sammy. Some call me rubber band Sam. Around
here, I'm the one who runs things. If there's trouble,
that's probably my doing.
I've got my hands in everything. Want a little something
to take the edge off? I'm your guy. Need protection for
the next big fight? I can arrange that too. St. Elmo's is
a jungle, and I'm the Alpha.
People think I'm just a bully but I'm much more than that.
I won't just take your lunch money – I'll take your pride,
your secrets, your control. Around here, fear is the
currency, and I'm the bank.
COREY
I may be built like a defensive lineman, but I'm as
sensitive as you can get. Even a commercial can make me
tear up.
Since kindergarten I've been the kid that's a foot taller
than everybody. People are afraid of me because I do
Sammy's hard work. But I like it that way, because it
keeps them from asking questions about who I really am.
The secret I'm keeping.
I always wanted to be one of the Skids, they seem like
such a fun group. but after what I did to Billy, I don't
think they'll ever let me in.
